How to enable or disable Homepage Support in AMP

Set static

If your Website has a static front page, if you want to show static front page on AMP version of your site, then kindly follow the below-given steps.

  1. If you want to Enable AMP on your Homepage, Turn ON Homepage Support.
  2. By default, AMP shows your website Latest Posts. If you want to Show Static Front Page on your AMP site Homepage, then Click Turn ON to Enable Static Front Page. 
  3. Select A Page, which you want to use as Static Front Page on your AMP site.
  4. Click Save Changes.

  1. Hmm, tried this, and it doesn’t seem to be working.

    The homepage of the site shows the posts, not the page I created as a landing page following the directions above.

    Do I need to enable it somewhere?

  2. Followed these instructions, but amp version of homepage shows error missing canonical link. If I add rel=canonical in Advanced settings then other pages error out with more than one rel=canonical found. Any help would be appreciated.

  3. Hi, title on front static front is set to off however it doesn’t seem to be working. homepage show the title

    Do I need to disable another thing somewhere?

      We have checked your website and the title is not showing as excepted and it is connected to that one option only “Title on Static Front Page” will you please check now and let us know.

      1. Hi Sonali, thanks a lot for prompt reply, you´re very kind. Regardding to https://seodominio.es/ The title is “Posicionamineto web” and still is displayed despite title on the front page is disabled (see the first screenshot form the links bellow).

        I want to set a longer title for my site, if I do this the title expands and overlaps all the pages. Please have a look to the following screenshots:
