How to add no referrer to all your social share links

The rel= “noreferrer” tag is a special HTML attribute that can be added to a link tag (<a>). It prevents passing the referrer information to the target website by removing the referral info from the HTTP header.

Follow these simple steps:

You will find his option in the WordPress Dashboard -> Navigate to AMP option panel -> Design -> Social -> Enable “Social Share links to AMP” option -> Enable this option to add “No Referrer All Your Social Links” and then click on the “Save Changes” button.

Here’s how to check it a link is noreferrer:

1. Right-click on your browser and click “View page source“.

2. This means that in Google analytics traffic coming from links that have the rel=”noreferrer” attribute will show as Direct Traffic instead of Referral.

That’s it for this tutorial!
