When you upload your images in the post, they are automatic converts into AMP version.
8/10 times we have found that you might be getting a problem because you have a lazy loading image plugin installed please try to deactivate them. or you can comment below on the article with the name of that plugin, we will compatible for you.

The a3 lazyload plug-in keeps the picture from showing. I deactivated it and the pictures appeared. Easy fix to the problem.
