About this Component

Post-Pagination Component is for enabling the pagination for single in your AMP theme.

How to use:

Following are the steps to use this component.

Step 1:

To initiate the support for the component in your theme just add the following code to the functions.php of the theme files.

// Post Pagination
add_amp_theme_support('AMP-post-pagination');

This was the back-end part where we’ve just initiated, now to make it appear in the front-end follow the next step.

Step 2:

To add the Post-Pagination we need to call it.
example: add the following code in single.php of the theme files.

<?php amp_post_pagination();?>

with this, you’re successfully able to set Post-Pagination on your theme.

Note

You can use the arguments to change the look of post pagination.

For example:

<?php amp_post_pagination( array( 
                            'next_or_number' => 'next', 
                            'nextpagelink' => '<span>Next</span>',
                            'previouspagelink' => 'Previous',
                            'before' => '',
                            'after' => '',
                            'next_class' => 'next-page',
                            'previous_class' => 'previous-page' )
 ); ?>

    1. currently pagination on category page redirect next page to URL like “no-college-degree-resume-samples/amp/page/2/”. How can I change it to “no-college-degree-resume-samples/page/2/amp”
