Meta description is not appearing in AMP, how to fix this?

Follow these simple steps:

You will find this option in the WordPress Dashboard -> Navigate to AMP option panel -> Settings -> SEO -> Enable “Meta Description” option and then click on the “Save Changes” button.

Meta Description: Once you enable this option meta description tag that will be displayed.

    1. Hi there,

      Done the above settings, but the met name description is not in AMP pages.
      It is shoeing the site title instead!

      In the non AMP page the description is showing correctly.
      Is this a bug Yoast related? i downgrade Yoast to 14.7 due to the problems with 14.8.1

      Let me know how to fix!
