License key not activating when using WordFence

WordFence block the activation key at that time you need to whitelist.

Block Reasons:

  • When we use a security plugin, we want it to block attacks, hackers, bad requests, prevent the theft of users’ accounts, all that kind of protections.

How to Whitelist your admin-ajax.php for license key activation in WordFence:

Follow these simple steps:

Step 1: In your WordPress admin area, go to Wordfence -> Firewall then at the top of that page click on the button that says Manage Firewall.

Step 2: Next scroll to the bottom of that screen to the Whitelist URLs section.

Here’s what you need to enter for each field:

  • URL = /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
  • Middle Dropdown = Param Type: POST Body
  • Param Name = ampforwp_get_licence_activate_update

Step3: Once you click on Add button WordFence allows your website to communicate properly with our licensing server.

Step 4: Go to WordPress Admin Area -> AMP option panel -> Extensions you need to enter the license key on this field and click on Activate button now your license key properly activated.
