How to override Tag Template in AMP

The following are the steps to override Tag Template in AMP

Step 1:

Create a folder named “ampforwp” in your theme which you are currently using.

e.g: if you are using twenty seventeen theme then you have to create ampforwp folder in the twenty seventeen theme folder

The directory will look like

ex:wp-content/themes/twenty seventeen/ampforwp

Tag: tag.php

Step 2:

Add the file which you want to override in this folder.

For example: If you want to override all pages then you have to create tag.php add your page.php in this folder and it will override the tag.php  of your AMP and if you want to override only the specific tag then you need to add post name or ID of that tag file like –

tag-{$slug_decoded}.php
tag-{$tag->slug}.php
tag-{$tag->term_id}.php
