How to Flush Rewrite Rules, also known as Resaving your Permalinks?

Flushing the rewrite rules might sound confusing but it is just a technical term. It’s used to clean the ugly permalink structure.

Here are two examples of the rewrite rule: 

• Ugly: site.com/?p=1
• Clean: site.com/hello-world

Follow these steps:

Step 1: In the main menu find Settings -> Permalinks.

Step 2: Scroll down if needed and click “Save Changes“.

Step 3: Rewrite rules and permalinks are flushed.
