License key Activation & Update Issues have been Resolved - AMP for WordPress

Firstly, let me start by apologizing for the inconvience that we might have caused to our customers due to few bugs in our license key and update method.

What’s new

We recently upgraded our backend with several major improvements, one of the big improvements was the ability to push updates faster with a blink of an eye.

But Why?

Before this new method, we used to fix the bugs in a matter of days, but it used to take us weeks to months to push the updates of every extension, but now, with this new system in place, we will be able to fix the bug and push the update on the very next second. This new method allows us to fix the bugs before the customers discover them and roll out the new features immediately.

This new backend upgrade is exciting BUT….

There was one thing that went wrong. Due to the wrong planning and some technical bugs, our users were facing issues while activating the license keys and installing the plugin updates.

I’m very sorry if you are one of those users that have faced inconvenience because of this. This was a bit technical so it took us some time to figure this out but we were able to fix all the issues.

Issues Sorted but 2 Step required:

I’m happy to report that we have fixed all those glitches and issues. The License keys and plugin updates should work perfectly fine from now on.

There are two things you need to make sure of:

  1. Make sure you have the 0.9.85.5 version installed of AMPforWP plugin.
  2. Download the latest copy of your extension from Accounts area and replace it with the one you have installed on your website.

After this steps, you just need to activate your license keys and the future updates will be smooth as butter.

    Hello,
    The upgrade ends in not displaying the writing content anymore on AMP pages.
    That is quite annoying.
    You do a quite good job. But when there are bugs, that’s really major bugs…
    Best.

      We already discussed on the email, it was a small bug in one of the plugin that was causing, we will work on it on Monday and release a fix.

    I did what you described for Contact Form 7 for AMP an it is not working now. The plugin can not be activated now and it does not cal for the license key. Forms are not working now.
