No redirecting to AMP Pages without Slash (\) in Permalink
Dear Sir,
I have installed the AMP Plugin on my websites few days back and tried to activate the same but what I noticed is that plugin do not direct to AMP pages unless we add Slash (/) in our permalink structure. We do not want to add Slash (/) in our permalink structure please let us know how to solve this issue. As in our opinion our pages will be treated as directory if they all end with Slash(/). Further since earlier we were not having slash (/) in our website permalink structure at the end so know having slash (/) in our pages will create duplicate pages for google .
Current Permalink Structure- https://taxguru.in/%category%/%postname%.html/
Desired Structure- https://taxguru.in/%category%/%postname%.html
It seems the same problem https://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-a-slash-is-added-to-the-links/
The existing JSON+LD data (recipe) from my pages doesn’t make it to the corresponding AMP page. How can I change this behavior?
I.e. this pages has no JSON+LD
https://coertvonk.com/family/cooking/our-recipes-231/1550/amp
But the original page does
https://coertvonk.com/family/cooking/our-recipes-231/1550
Thanks, all else seemed to work out of the box
