Our Aim was to help the users for better integration of Ads on the site so we’ve created this new plugin from the scratch to gives it users the better control on Ads.
This tutorial is to show you how to work with our new Ads for WP so, let’s get to it.
Once you installed the plugin you’ll see a “Ads” section which is to post the ads, I’ll show you how to add the Ads and all there is to them.
First, we add a new ad from our Ads section, name it as you like, there are two meta boxes in it which comprise all the features and setting to our ads which are explained as follows.
This will complete your creation of ad and your ad is live.
As to let people get the benefits of our plugin we decided to make our plugin standalone which is to say that other plugin users apart from ours such as “AMP by Automattic” will be able to add the Ads on their AMP sites in future we’ll be adding the support to other plugins as well.
So first thing would be to select the plugin you are using
We’ve divided the types of ads based on their placement and nature and following are types of Ad we’ve included in the plugin.
what are normal and other types of ad and what do they do? Let me explain.
Normal ads consist the dropdown list of the positions where the ads are going to be added. the list is of the options are as followed.
I don’t think that I’d need to explain the above-mentioned position apart from the last i.e., InBetween Loop which is only on the blog page post loop.
InContent Ads as the name suggests is used to display the ads in the content of your post by simply putting between the paragraphs. once you select the option you’ll see a text box which asks you to enter the paragraph number after which the ad to display.
In 2.0 we’ve added the shortcode functionality so that users place the shortcode wherever they wish without any restriction and to this, we called Manual Ads where the user will be placing the ads.
As the name suggest sticky ads is something which will be stuck at the bottom of the screen and will all be presented even scrolling of the content on the mobile.
AMP Auto Ads is Google’s new ad type which Dynamically injects ads into an AMP page, we just need to add the code.
Ad vendor is to select the which networks ad you are using we’ve included the support for the Adsense, DoubleClick (DFP), Custom and Media.net.
In Adsense ads, we’ve included a feature for the Link Ads which as different dimensions for the best visibility of link Ads.
Custom Ads is for those networks who provide AMP Compatible Ads and If you desired to create your own Ad banner then you can do it but you need to use the “amphtml” format, not the usual HTML.
Media.net we’ve included the support for the Media.net aswell where you just need to place the
Now after all these settings now you just need to select the dimensions and add the respective data related to ads such as the client id, slot id, etc.
Once you are finished with all the selection and entrees all is left to publish the ad by hitting the publish button then your ad is live on you AMP site.
You’ll see all your ads in Ads’s section.
I hope this tutorial helps you to successfully add the Ad on your site and If you encounter any issue you can reach us for the help here.
