What is “Dev Mode in AMP” and how to use it?

If you are using AMP version and your website is in under development and it’s not ready yet and you don’t want to crawl this site in Google search Engines then we have an option to hide your AMP website in Google Search Engines for this you need to follow the below steps:

  • Go to your WordPress Dashboard -> Navigate to AMP option panel -> Settings -> Advance Settings -> Enable this “Dev Mode in AMP” option and then click on the “Save Changes” button.

Scroll down a little to see this option

  • Dev Mode in AMP: Once you enable this option you need to manually add ‘/amp’ at the end of URL to view the AMP version of the site.

Note: Make sure to disable this option once your website is ready for AMP

That’s it for this tutorial!

We hope it helped you. If you have any feedback or questions, then please share them in the comments section below.
