How to remove the category base in the AMP

If you removed the category base in your non-AMP version (normal website) then you need to remove it in AMP as well by following these steps.

For example:

From – http://example.com/category/sport/

To – http://example.com/sport/

Here are the steps to remove the category base in AMP:

Step 1 – Once you install and activate our AMPforWP plugin then we will have these two options.

• Basic Setup View
• Advance Setup View

You need to select the Advance Setup View option and then select Settings option like below the screenshot and all our options will appear.

Step 2 – First Go to the WordPress admin area -> AMP option panel -> Settings -> Advance Settings.

Step 3 – Scroll down a little to see this option.

• Category base removes in AMP: Once you enable this option it will remove the Category base in AMP also.

Step 4 – Click on the “Save Changes” button.
