How to add the logo in AMP

In this tutorial, we will show you how to add a logo for this follow the below steps.

  • You will find this option to the WordPress Dashboard -> AMP Option Panel -> Settings -> General -> Click on the Upload button to locate the logo on your computer. Choose your logo and upload it onto the dashboard and then click on the “Save Changes” button.

How to resize the logo in AMP

If you are have added the logo for AMP and if you don’t like the logo size then we have the option to resize the logo by following the below steps.

First go to WordPress Admin Area -> AMP option panel -> Settings -> General -> Enable Resize option.

  • Resize: Once you enable this resize option other options will be shown.
  • Resize Method: In this option, two options will be shown.

1. Flexible width: By using this option you can easily resize the size of the logo.

2. Fixed width: If you know the exact width and height of the logo using this option you can resize of the logo. By default Logo Size for AMP Version is set for Fixed width 190×36. Click on the “Save Changes” button like below the screenshot.

Note: If the logo is not added then the logo title will be H1 and the main title will be H2 because it is necessary for SEO to have one H1 on the page and if you add the logo then the main title will be H1.

  • If we make the two titles as H1 tag then it will create the problem for SEO. So, If you want to make the title of a single post as H1 then you need to add the logo in the AMP version.
