Are you seeing a lot of AMP traffic from cdn.ampproject.org<\/strong> to your site?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re using the AMP for WP plugin, Google is likely caching some of those AMP pages and sending you the traffic, and then counting it as a referral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To avoid this, you\u2019ll want to use a referral exclusion for cdn.ampproject.org<\/strong>. In this guide, we\u2019ll show you how.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use referral exclusion<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We recommend adding a referral exclusion with the following domain: cdn.ampproject.org<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will prevent all cached AMP subdomains served by Google from breaking sessions incorrectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding referral traffic sources<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Step 1<\/strong>: Sign into Analytics account at\u00a0https:\/\/analytics.google.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2<\/strong>:\u00a0Click Admin.
